back to normal

tgifso glad today is friday and that this week is over… i’ve barely had time to read my blogs and keep up-do-date w/everything so its nice to have some breathing time… i’ve been doing pretty good food-wise, being busy is always a great appetitie suppressant! i’ve gotten all my workouts in for the week plus one pilates class and two long walks - weigh-in will tell me if i’ve made any progress…

exhaustedits pointless for me to be here today, i should’ve called in sick and stayed home… it will probably be my last non-busy day for another two or three weeks since my next project will be making a website to match the publication i just finished… shouldn’t be too hard but it will be tedious and tiring and boring - such is life, right?

scalethe scale said i was back down to 162.8 so i’m happy its a loss, even if its back to where i was two weeks ago… it might’ve been a bit less if i hadn’t partaken in margarita drinking friday night but that’s okay, i had a reason to celebrate… my big project was sent to the printer so i can, for the time being, breathe a huge sigh of relief…

thank GOD its friday

umbrellai am so happy today is friday, regardless if the weather is crappy or not, the week is over and i’ll be done w/this huge project… i am looking forward to this weekend, knowing that when i come in monday - i won’t have to stare at anymore charts, tables or boring-ass text… yes, there’s a second piece to this huge fact book puzzle but i’m not going to let that bother me - no use worrying about something that hasn’t happened yet, right…

weighty wednesday

weightshad a good workout today, even upped my weights a bit on some exercises… even though i feel like i have stalled w/my weightloss, i can definitely see a difference in how my body is shaped due to lifting… i have been stepping on the scale every morning too which isn’t good because i’m not seeing anything positive… i think after this week, i’m going to cut back on the processed foods (frozen lunches, soup, etc.) and start eating more salads, samiches, fruit, and whole grains… i had a huge salad for dinner last night and it was great - minus the high-sodium soup… maybe by doing that and actually doing some cardio dvd’s, i’ll begin to see results again…

tiredsorry i haven’t been posting, work has been crazy… i can’t wait for this huge project to be over with - the deadline we’re shooting for is friday so between now and then, my life is going to be hell… and then there’s bluelines to check , final edits to be made, the presscheck, and (gasp) the HTML version… i will seriously need a day off after all this for sure…

disappointed

bad scale 2i’m not feeling tooo great this morning because of what i saw on the scale and its my own fault… i ate some crappy things yesterday knowing damn well WI was this morning… could i have made better choices? yea, i could have but i didn’t so now i’m in a crappy mood just because of a number… this is what happens when you start to feel comfortable and think you have the routine down - you think, “i’ve done my exercise so now i can have some fried fish and french fries… or how about some gelato?”… (beep) wrong… i haven’t added more cardio to my workouts either, like i keep saying i should, so there are issues i need to deal with… this weight isn’t just going to magically disappear cus it certainly didn’t appear overnight… one step at a time, right?

halfway there

indifferenttechnically the week is more than half over, for me anyway, since my office is closed on good friday… i have big plans you know - need to get my oil changed… i also plan on hanging out w/mom - we’re going up to this quaint part of baltimore to check out the cool shops and art galleries… if there’s one thing my mom and i have in common, its shopping and we can do it til our eyes bleed (and bargain shoppers we are!)… i’ve always pondered what it would be like to be someone’s personal shopper… would it be exciting enough to keep me happy or would i burn out really quick, dealing w/selfish people who are too busy to do anything… something to ponder i guess but i think i would really like it…
