realization
so it took me 3 days to realize that i reached another weightloss goal… last year, when i became serious about losing weight and working out, one of my goals was to lose 10% of my total body weight… well, as of last saturday’s weigh-in, i made it and damn that makes me feel pretty happy… t took me over a year but i still made it so lets see how long it takes me to get to my next goal of 10 pounds…
had another great weekend w/the boyfriend - we worked in the garage (more like i watched him change the oil in the harley and truck), ran errands, had some wonderful homemade ziti, watched some tv and a movie, and basically relaxed… i got my haircut (which looks fab, by the way) and finally found some nice capris but after wearing a pair yesterday - i realized they are too big… i know that’s a good thing but i just hate taking things back cus its a pain in the ass so now my capri-search continues… maybe i need to try target…
work has been slow and quiet, thank god, and will probably only get more so… my organization’s annual meeting is this week which also means there’s a huge dinner at the national building museum… all employees can go (w/a date) so i’m looking forward to that but not to all the fattening food they will probably have… i can do fine w/the food but free alcohol will be a problem so we’ll see - maybe i’ll save up some points for that…
anyway, not much else going on… hope you’re having a great tuesday…

Be sure to go early and check out some of the exhibitions at National Building Museum–it’s worth the trip! This one is opening this weekend: http://www.nbm.org/Exhibits/greenHouse2/greenHouse.htm
