regardless of how many times you step on a scale, its hard to not feel defeated when the numbers go up instead of down… granted .4 pounds is nothing in the grand scheme of things but nonetheless, i feel i worked pretty hard this week (jogging more, drinking my water, etc.)… i read a LOT of weightloss blogs and i would say maybe 99.9% go thru the same thing but when it happens to you, it just feels different…
i still went to spinning class this morning but have to admit, i did not give 100%… i also jogged for 10 minutes beforehand so maybe that’s why (it makes a difference when there’s new music on your iPod)… all i can do, is keep doing what i’m doing - this week i’ll be adding two pilates workouts and my 8-minute ab dvd has been ordered… i may talk to the guy at the gym and see if switching my cardio/weight days would shake things up… if not, i cannot let such a TINY number get me down - i am healthy and in much better shape than i was 1 year ago… others have commented that my body has changed but when you see yourself naked everyday, it still appears the same for some reason… maybe i need to start focusing on the things i DO like instead of things i don’t… here’s to a new week…

Weight loss is so hard. I am losing weight for my wedding and there are plenty of days I think, why bother? I have had weeks of healthy eating where I have put on weight too. Keep looking ahead though, you will reap the rewards. And you are probably losing inches anyway.

I know exactly how you feel. When I was on Jenny Craig, there were a couple of times when my numbers went up, and I hadn’t cheated AT ALL… It was incredibly frustrating. But you seem to be on the right track by looking forward to a new week… Take advantage and make it your best!
